PROJECT SUMMARY

Objectives

After being taken over by a new investor the challenge was to improve productivity in conjunction with a sustainable reduction of costs by several tens of million Euros. In parallel transparency was to be created with an eye on performance and the quality improvement. This was to be achieved through the unbiased analyses of a neutral advisor.

Challenges

In order to achieve the efficiency targets the entire organizational structure of the company was changed and adapted to a new organizational framework.

We reduced the number of employees and revised the entire business processes across all business silos & departments. New quality criteria for the respective transitions phase were introduced and developed. In addition to the new management & control framework for transparency in their areas of responsibility, we implemented a highly integrated KPI system.

Achievements

– An annual cost reduction amounting to over ten million Euros.
